Marciano is not that overrated but there is no way a fighter with a reach of 68 inches could stand a chance against Foreman.

 

Ruiz was fat. He was not bigger than AJ.

Joshua was the naturally much bigger man. Ruiz only came up to Anthonys collar bone.

 

No I`m assuming a fighter with George`s weight was far stronger than the much smaller Marciano and thatt his lighter body would be easier to push out of range than Frazier`s.

 

But Ruiz has the power to knock out big guys and hurt a trunk like AJ`s making him quit in all reality, Ruiz`s body punching waas harder in tghat fight than Marciano`s body shots were, AJ wouldn`t move his arms away from his body after taking a few of those, Ruiz was punching his whole weight.

You're dead wrong on Frazier, Eddie Futch was brought in to give him a right hand and the utilisation of that short but effective punch can be seen in his tutelage and Frazier's subsequent fights. You didn't see so many guys like Joshua until after the period where all sports became saturated with drug cheating.

Passing a drug test just means you passed the test. It does not mean a fighter has not benefited from "modern training" that did not exist before.

 

But what woukd he weigh and what would he look like in the 1950s? All that cardio training and lean foods.

230lb guys exited then but they gassed bad. Those guys were not built for championship boxing until advances in training and diet helped them do it.
