People talk bad about david haye, but remember this guy had courage. he was a pumped up cruiserweight fighting giants. He hurt his toe in the Wladimir fight. Yes it's not the greatest of excuses, but he didn't quit. He torn his achilles against bellew. he didn't quit. He would of fought fury, he would of lost, but he wouldn't of quit, he would of taken his beating like a man.

Haye trained too explosive and lifted too many weights, it ruined him

Just because others did it doesn't make it right.

If I robbed a bank, and my defence was "yeah but everyone else was doing it"
I'd be doing time and would probably be laughed at for decades as the worst defendant ever

Well people rank those 3 names at the very top of the sport, no mention of blatant cheating.

Let’s make it fair, if tyson ‘tested positive’ for a minuscule amount of a naturally occurring substance the other 3 were up to 6 times the natural amount test.

Cheating is wrong, but let’s look at every champs background. I don’t think there would be many left

Bit of a random thread tbh. A bit of research would of taught you a great deal.

Whilst I was never one of Hayes biggest fans, he never ducked a challenge or quit and always went out on his shield.

He wouldn't have ducked the 40% inactive drug-ravaged muscle atrophied suicidal shell of Fury's decrepit grandfather's shot ghost that took Bum Squad to Slick School in the later's backyard where everything was stacked against him and unlike that spineless pigeon-hearted female dog from Tuscaloosa he wouldn't have been deathly afraid to travel over to Fury's manor for the rematch either.

Haye gets a lot of stick on here and is massively undervalued.

The Ringside episode when Haye and Fury were discussing there upcoming fight was brilliant

Shame we never got to see it.

Wlad was faster than usual if that's possible, he eased up on power and went for scoring speed to catch Haye when he could, good tactic from a atg Heavyweight Champ. Haye is the same size as Ali, the size difference with skills on top is too much for the little guys !
