i know it was legit i watched his hands wrapped for that fight He legitimallly beat down Cotto & made him kneel and quit in surrender. he was fixing to ndo the same again with onl one good eye but the doc stopped the fight to save Cotto quitting again Not to save Tony's eye

The Nevada state athletic commission stated that there is no way that Team Margarito could have loaded his wraps against Cotto
and stated that in California where the wrapping incident occurred with Margarito, there the trainer is allowed to use their own wrapping materials, where as in Nevada where Margarito vs Cotto took place, it is mandatory that fighters wrap with the materials the commission supplies.
This fact goes ignored by all those that accuse Magarito of loading his wraps vs Cotto.

 

This topic has been done to death, of course he's not innocent. The man was a cheating scumbag, his power was pretty much non existent after his weapons got taken away. How do you go from winning the biggest fight of your career, get CAUGHT cheating the fight after, then never ever having a meaningful win again and lacking the same power you did in previous bouts. It legit makes no sense, the 2nd time Margarito fought Cotton, he fought a softer, more damaged Miguel, who was staggered and almost knocked out by Floyd Mayweather at 154 with clown gloves on not too long after their rematch. The rematch was not going the same way the first fight did, where the **** did this silly rumor come from, I've only heard this from biased clowns like CST or that other guy who's been coming and defending Margarito for a decade on every thread since he knows him irl.. Cotton won pretty much every round, and gave Margarito the beating of his life the last round before it got stopped.

 

lmfao for those that think Margarito was getting the upperhand against Cotto in the rematch. For crying out loud it was the end of the 9th and I had him winning maybe 1 or 2 rounds at the very most. Cotto must have been up for at least 5 for even in the minds of the most biased of Margarito fans.
