Was Antonio Margarito innocent?

They are the law they can refuse or suspend anyone a boxing licence at their own discretion. One man sue the Nevada State Athletic Commission ?? Get Real

You get real! If you are being accused of loading your gloves which is the worst thing that a boxer can be accused of then absolutely you sue to restore your good name. That is if you're innocent. If you're not like Margo was you take it.

Thats where the CSAC's lawyers were so smart . The wording was " WE BELIEVE Mr Margarito tried to load his gloves so we have suspended his licence to box in Ca"
.They never ACCUSED him of it flat out They couldnt they never had any evidence of his guilt. They really ruined that mans life & career

 

He wasn't innocent. Boxing is a small community. People talk. Margarito never beat up anyone like he did Cotto that night. In his next fight, Mosley's team goes in his dressing room and demands to look at the wraps, and they find the foreign object in the glove. They knew what they were looking for. They had it removed. And then Mosley proceeds to beat the living hell out of Margarito.

If Margarito was innocent, why did he get beaten so badly in all his fights after that one unique win over Cotto? He didn't beat Paul Williams like that. He didn't beat Daniel Santos at all. He didn't beat up anyone like he did Cotto.

Without the Cotto win, Margarito has two wins over Kermit Cintron. That's it. And that doesn't make anyone a bad-ass.

All Margarito had to do to silence everyone was beat Cotto in the rematch. He didn't come close.

 

Which should be even more reason why you should sue.
I honestly believe Margo thought he was guilty and just took his punishment.

 

Without the Cotto win, Margarito's BIG WINS were against Kermit Cintron. Daniel Santos was ordinary at best. Margarito couldn't even beat him.

 

Guilty people don't sue. He was caught red-handed. And then he got beat to a pulp that night by Mosley.

If he was as great as he looked against Cotto, he'd have done the same to Shane Mosley.

 

What annoys me worse than anything is to see a man I know is innocent get his career ruined by an inept , or crooked you choose, Commission. While another Commission allows their cash cow to write his own rules & cheat any way he thinks fit & they'll issue retroactive TUE's & issue statements he did nothing wrong in attempts to vainly cover his ass
Now tell me boxing is not corrupt

 

What annoys me is when guys load their gloves beat someone unmercifully, and then try to do it again and get caught.

I'm glad the fight against Mosley went on that night, after Margarito was caught trying to cheat, and I'm glad Mosley beat the hell out of him for doing it.

Mosley was no Kermit Cintron.

 

I was at the fight in Puerto Rico when Santos blatantly headbutted him time and again causing the second fight
to be declared a win for santos due to margaritos cuts
first fight was same but called a N/C
i was AT THE MAJORITY OF tony's fights since 1999 and the only ones I saw that he legitimately lost were to PAUL Williams & Paquaio
