Was SRL harder to overcome for Duran ( Fight 1)
Was Pac harder to overcome for Morales (Fight 1)
Was Bowe harder to overcome for Holy (Fight 2)
Was Louis harder to overcome for Schmeling (Fight 1)
Was Tyson harder to overcome for Douglas (Fight 1)

Well, Duran landed two shots on Leonard in their third fight that busted Leonard's eye open and caused a terrible cut to his mouth. If Duran had landed those in the first couple rounds instead of at the very end, he'd have been in great shape to win. And Holyfield floored Bowe hard in their third fight. And Morales did okay against Pac in their rematch (not so much the third fight). Meaning they had their moments in other fights against the same guys.

So I think it's between Schmeling and Douglas. Schmeling failed miserably in his rematch with Louis, but I don't know if Douglas would've lasted a round or two against Tyson had they fought again.

Schmeling had great nights against other top guys. Douglas really didn't.

I'd go with "Tyson was harder to overcome for Douglas." I think that was truly a one-night-only win.

Sorry for the thread not being more clear, but I meant in the very specific fights mentioned in the OP
