Margarito was "just a guy" until he surprisingly beat Cotto. And he didn't make it out of the dressing room before the Mosley fight before he was magically "just a guy" again.

Mosley was brought in as a "name" for Margarito to beat. Margarito still loaded his gloves. That showed how much confidence he had.

Loading your gloves is the worst thing a fighter can do.

If Margarito was any kind of "beast" that you all claim, he should've been able to handle Mosley without loading his gloves. But he couldn't handle Mosley AT ALL with his gloves not loaded.

 

Margarito could have brass knuckles on with no gloves but you still need to land punches, which he didn’t.
