Spence KO's that fish looking motha****a. He'll fold under Spence's pressure. People don't realize that Spence is holding himself back staying at 147, he'll be way more powerful and faster at 154. But I still want to see Bud/Spence and Thurman/Spence so I'm good with him at 147.

 

Holding back for what? Dude is almost 30 with no significant wins. I like him and Crawford and Thurman but their careers are coming up short as they have gotten older. Or is this the new way in boxing? Guys from past eras with their potential already had many significant fights by the time they were entering their early 30s.

 

Listen, J-Rock can box his ass off.

If he can stand up to the power and physicality of Hurd then he can stand up to the heat Spence is bringing.

I'm not buying what people are selling as far as Spence being better at 154 than 147lbs. Yes, his walk around weight is big, but his frame is not huge. Reminds me of Trinidad in a way. Tito was a tall, strapping 147lber and he was utterly killing himself to make weight (unlike Spence) so he was forced to move up. The difference is that Tito had "all-time" level power (Spence does not). No question Tito wasn't the same tall strapping man at Junior Middle. But he still had lethal power and height so he was dangerous.

Spence doesn't have those qualities to move in weight with. He has his monstrous physicality and conditioning.

Don't think that cuts it with J-Rock.

 

Find it strange that you dont like J-Rock but I do.

 

J-rock isnt getting Ud'd by anyone at 154. You either crack his chin or you're losing. He's put all of his skills together and is mentally at the top of his game now.

 

Williams would **** Spence up.

 

Spence is a clear level above Williams. He can fight at more ranges and has a much better arsenal than williams.

 

People saying Spence is a huge welter is laughable. He is a tad above average as far as size. If he is considered a huge welter, then what was Cintron, Margarito, Williams, Jones etc.? Spence is smaller than Jarron Ennis.

 

Do you rate Brook above J-Rock? He's the only guy with any size and decent boxing skills that Spence has beaten and it wasn't exactly easy. I'd have to see Spence at 154 before picking him here, right now J-Rock all day.

 

I would have picked a prime brook to move up and beat jrock. Who has he beat? Hurd a guy who i thought would be destroyed by jermell. Jrock was brutally koed by evil twin charlo and charlo is not better boxer than Spence. With that said this is all speculation and we need to see spence at 154 first before making a honest prediction.
