Due to age difference they could never fight each other at their best as it would either have been Canelo too young or how it turned out GGG getting old while Canelo heading into his prime. Many believe despite his age GGG still won so who is actually the better fighter with the better skill set / attributes taking everything into consideration?
Who cares what many people believe> People are sheep. You're kinda new here (unless you're an alt, which is highly probable) and already you have risen to the top of the sites biggest cry babies. One can say Canelo wasn't fully acclimated to MW for the first two fights, and that just now after his third fight and only second opponent there he is finally acclimated. One can say many things either way, but REALITY is Canelo won the rematch.
Defending? Haha.. What does it matter to you? Are you here to discuss boxing or are you here to concern yourself with what I do?
Past prime GGG beat Canelo twice, with two different game plans. Expect my post to be quoted by isal talking about official decision while ignoring the vast majority of viewers.
I'll do better. Here is a list of boxing legends and fighters who had Canelo beating GGG. Mike Tyson George Foreman Julio Cesar Chavez Miguel Cotto Robert Garcia Jorge Arce Willie Monroe Caleb Traux Austin Trout Cornelius K9 Bundridge Andre Ward Amir Khan Marco Antonio Barrera Mikey Garcia Andy Lee Martin Murray Errol Spence Sergio Mora Bernard Hopkins Jorge Linares Peter Quillin Tony Bellew David Haye Floyd Mayweather SR Erik Morales David Lemieux Julin Williams Peter Smith Liam Smith Jermell Charlo Jermall Charlo Claressa Shields Caleb Plant Jason Quigley Anthony Fowler Dave Coldwell Badou Jack Jaime Munguia Andy Lee Jeff Mayweather Dewey Cooper Luis Tapia Ladarious Miller Kevin Newmen Rolando Romero Fernando Vargas Adam Booth Josh Kelly Jorge Travieso Arce Humberto Chiquita González Shakur Stevenson Devin Haney Gavin Rees John Molina Brandon Krause Curtis Stevens Ashley Theophane Abner Mares Michael Conlan Roberto Duran Need more? Because there's more.
Neither is better than the other! Both proved they are pretty much on the same level! I couldn't separate either guy from one another out of both their bouts.
What if Golovkin was born in Mexico and turns pro at the age of 14, and Canelo was born in Mid Asia and comes to America at the age of 30?
Who gives a **** about your list. 70% of people and 90% of media had GGG winning both fights. That means the list of names that had GGG wining is a lot longer .
And 70% of people and 90% of media know how to score DEFENSE, CLEAN PUNCHING, EFFECTIVE AGGRESSION, RING GENERALSHIP? Because it isn't about who landed a few more jabs per round buddy. Boxing is much more complex than two men clobbering each other. I would trust certified boxing legend's opinion with no stake in each fighters, and professional fighter's opinions over 70% of fans and 90% of the media's opinion any day. But you go on and keep crying about GGG supposedly getting robbed, it will never change the ut come and it will never change Roberto Duran's, George Foreman's or Mike Tyson's opinion.
Not according to the majority of the boxing world Dumbo Lowest % I saw was GGG 75% Canelo15% Draw 10 % Even the Mexican poll was 80% GGG 20% Ginger lol
