Who is the actual better boxer GGG or Canelo?

Why? I'm sure 75% of fans didn't and you guys tout that in every debate.

Let's not be hypocritical.

 

1. You can’t say , but you always defend him , in other words that’s how you say it .
I don’t care if he did ,but he was caught and that’s the fact.

2. That’s not a fact. Fight was close that’s a fact and corrupt judges scored it for canelo that’s also a fact and simply because judges scored it for canelo does not mean canelo actually beat GGG. Judges once had Korean guy “beating” RJJ for olympic gold .

Canelo hes more conplete than ggg.

 

GGG proved he was the better boxer twice. Even past it old GGG beat a young and prime Canelo.

 

Golovkin was definitely was robbed in the first fight,and the 2nd fight would sit a little better if the benefit of every doubt didn't always go to Canelo.If they were 1-1 right now it would sit a little better even though I thought Golovkin won both.If the shoe was on the other foot Canelo fans would still be flipping over cars,burning GGG shirts and looting businesses.

 

All the hype around GGG was about his style and aggression then when he actually fought Canelo he refused to go to the body and tried to win by throwing single shots.

GGG showed up well in both fights but I can't help but feel that everything before that was just weak opposition.

 

I think that’s something that’s said in retrospect after he didn’t get a win in a fight he should have. Mayweather can go on ko streaks fighting guys below his level even at an advanced age. The point is If Golovkin got the W i doubt anyone would’ve cared. Well, until the second fight, which was legitimately close.

 

Canelo is the more complete fighter. Not by much but he gets the nod as "the actual better boxer".

 

"better equiped"? Yeah.!

Canelo is clearly the better defensive fighter and his offense is on par with Gennady's. So he is the more versatile fighter.

 

He beat Jacobs a lot more clearer.

 

As the boxing world knows GGG beat Canelo TWICE!! but did not get the Vegas decision. GGG is streets ahead of Canelo sadly no one beats Father Time for ever though

 

If it wasn’t for his lousy gastank Canelo would have outboxed GGG clearly in the first, and even clearer than he did in the second. Golovkin has a better jab, maybe marginally better footwork. Apart from that Canelo has him pipped in every department.
