Anyone think there will be another upset here?

Maybe. Whyte struggling with Chisora twice makes question just how good he is. Rivas can bang.

Wouldn’t be a huge upset though really, Rivas is a decent fighter - he’ll give dillian a proper fight.

If Lewis is the referee there will be no upset.

I reckon if Jennings had another round he would have beat Rivas.

    Should, coulda, woulda.
Jennings best case scenario was a draw if it weren't for the KO.

I was not impressed with Rivas in his Jennings fight though he came through when he needed to.

I think this will be a good fight

Whyte will be up on the cards after the 8th and I expect by a wide margin. But he doesn't finish fights all that well.
Rivas is going to either finish strong and loose a decision, or he is going to score a come from behind KO.

All in all, Whyte's catch and shoot style counters and that left hook will be a big hassle for Rivas. Strongly favoring Whyte, but am rooting for Rivas. Winnable fight for the Colombian.

Kaboom will start this match the way ended to Jennings match. Whyte is susceptible to being caught cold and hurt early, and back before his eye injury, that's how Rivas used to roll. That being said Rivas can also outbox Whyte with relative ease. But he knows he doesn't have the luxury to play it safe in this match, you can't allow Dillian to get in a rhythm and at least give the impression he's winning rounds, or keeping them close, this is in the UK after all, so he'll go the shock and awe route. Rivas KO2.

    What?
Ah yes, anyone who even says something remotely anti Whyte, must all be sitting on one big boat!

But nah, it was a 12 round fight. Could have Parker stopped Whyte in the 12th? Maybe. Maybe he could have won another 10-8 round. But it doesn't work that way. I bet a ton of modern classics would have had a different outcome if it were 15 rounds.
But if I remember correctly then the only reason Whyte got the decision over Parker, was due to the headbutt. The second round was arguably a Parker round. But again, coulda, shoulda, woulda!
Either it had been a draw or a MD win for Whyte.
But the bogus headbutt secured Whyte that W :deal:
