I like Izu. My Polish buddy told me that his Polish is very good and proper, he gave a great interview expressing his support for Polish nationalism and disdain for immigrants who don't assimilate/respect the Polish culture. Hadn't seen much of the other guy, but Izu was a favorite of mine so sad he got beaten up tonight. His career is very likely over.

    May as well change it.

Like Gassiev-Thomas, putting the NC label on it changes nothing as far as how each fighters stock will be treated going forward and nobody in their right mind will want a rematch of it

Most people on this planet aren't cut out to be professional fighters for one reason or another. Izu sounds like a good dude and should get out of the game before he gets hurt.

Didn't see the fight but after watching replay looks like it was a clear punch to a ground opponent that he didn't need to do as Ugonoh was done imo but it was also clear Ugonoh was also trying to milk the laste shot,as he seemingly had enough energy to talk to the ref while he was down but made no effort to get up.
Not sure what the rules are there but shouldn't Ugonoh have got a few minutes extra to recover because of the foul plus loss of point for Rozanksi?

Yeah, but I think Izu played himself into a loss by talking to the official, and in essence convincing him that he wasn't that affected by the foul.

Yep - sad day for Izu

a once-promising almost-contender - now down to this. Sad and baffling

Still don't understand what people saw in Izu. He's always been terrible.

Yeah, that was a bad foul, but I seriously doubt it changed the outcome by more than a round.

@Max Thunder Do you believe that Fiodor Czerkaszyn will win a world title one day?
