I want to say Holm can beat Nunes since she's a better pure boxer, but that same argument could have been made against Cyborg, and Holm couldn't beat her. I'd give Nunes a lot of credit if she can KO(not submit), Holly though.
It's ****. Rakic is the only upcoming talent that actual impresses me. Walker will fizz out just like Oozdemir did once the early KO's stop coming. Two ex middleweights have moved up and challenged for the belt because the division is so thin full of old fighters and mediocrities. Other than Jones it sucks. I think Gustafsson in the right place is easily a full level above these guys as well but he isn't. That's another reason why he shouldn't retire. Should switch camps and hire a sports psychologist - a lot of his struggles are mental.

Nunes is really wild, Holly can capitalize and counter. Issue is I don't think she has enough pop in her punch to put Nunes down, so she has to have the perfect fight to win.
I don't think so. Nunes striking is super basic. She just hits hard for a chick so if you brawl with her you're probably getting planked. Valentina was able to nullify her with skill and movement and take her power away. Holm might well lose but I expect it to be by sub or maybe TKO on the mat. Amanda might try to grind her against the fence and wear her down early.
I agree and disagree. She totally hits hard enough to stop Nunes with the right shot. Holm is a very live dog here.
