    Holm really ****ed up in that fight. She left herself completely open for a good amount of time. Nunes didn't set up ****, Holm was just really slow to recover from whatever the **** she was doing. Her gameplan should have been to tire Nunes out while Nunes threw her wild looping huge punches/kicks and peppered her with counters. She was implementing that plan decently until she just stood there in front of Nunes, letting Nunes kick her in the face.

    A top-5 MW just got knocked the **** out.

    A mediocre WW moved up and became the champ in the MW division. Santos and Smith clearly better at 205.

    nunes is a real fighter, shes got the genetics that puts her above everyone. holly was getting her face smashed by hard jabs, and shes a boxer. it wasnt hard to see how good amanda is. shes got the natural form, the reflexes, the cool mind under fire, and that killer instinct found in real fighters.

    Smith and Santos still aren't great. Their success is largely due to a weakened landscape.

    Absolutely zero reason for Jones to stay at LHW after this. He needs to move up to HW and face whomever has the belt at the time.

    Hell would have to literally freeze over. Jones has a chin and is massive compared to Santos. One can dream though.....

    The whole boxing v mma thing is silly imo and while Holm easily had a longer more successful career as a boxer she did start out as a kickboxer
