DAZN to Team Canelo: “Only Golovkin or Kovalev next!”

Kinda sorta needs to happen. While there’s a chance not much will change and it’ll be razor close again, most reasonable people see it tied one a piece and a rubber match is in order.

 

Sounds like DAZN wants to see it too and since they are cutting the checks. LET'S GET IT ON!!

 

Seems that DAZN doesn't give a fu** about all the "A" side and "B" side nonsense. They just want good fights.

 

I wonder what's in the contract, but with the kind of money they're paying Canelo, Oscar probably got screwed by a few more kitchen utensils.

 

Oscar doesn't seem to want the Golovkin fight, he wants to make him wait like he said, and I think it's because of all the demands GGG made for the rematch, I think Oscar is bitter of how he had to pay GGG more $$ out of his own pocket to make the rematch happen last year.

But Canelo I don't think feels the same way Oscar does about GGG. I think what happened was Oscar went to Mexico a few weeks back and advised him to fight somebody else other than GGG, but Canelo insisted to Oscar that he wants to fight GGG next especially if that's what the fans want to see.

So I think even though Oscar doesn't want him to fight GGG next, he still tried to make the fight since Canelo insisted he do that. But I think then what happened was GGG said he refuses to fight in Vegas, so that kind of stopped negotiations.

I think Canelo wants more than anything to get a decisive win over GGG. And frankly, I think GGG is probably a more tougher and more difficult fight for Canelo than Andrade. And as a fan I want to see Canelo challenged. Smith and Kovalev are much bigger challenges in terms of size, but they may not be tougher than another 12 round war with GGG. Reports came out that Canelo may fight Smith in December, but lets not act like Canelo is not willing to fight GGG again. It's Oscar who wants to make GGG wait, not Canelo. Canelo is a warrior and will go against Oscar's advice and tell him to make fights that the fans want to see. I think DAZN simply feels like Canelo GGG is the biggest fight that could be made, and many fans agree.

 

DAZN telling Oscar where he can stick the Mungia fight. Why didn't they just do Canelo-GGG 3 in May?

 

They both will do anything to age GGG another six months to a year.

 

That’s odd. Golovkin makes sense but Kovalev as the only second option is bogus.

DLH tried to get a fight with Munguia. Lol. What a joke. Clenelo is supposed to be the #1 fighter in the world. Taking a fight with Scrubguia is laughable.

No one but NO ONE gets an even break against the cash cow in Vegas. First it was Mayweather now its Canelo.All the NSAC & Vegas boxing care about is $$$$$$$$ screw the fans. They know you'll shell out your $$$$$ to watch whatever fights they dish out & what ever corruption is used to ensure their man wins. Until you guys finally wake up & stop supporting the corruption& boycott the tainted fights it will just get worse

Clenelo needs to man-up snd face GGG again.

Something is definitely going on behind the scenes between DAZN and GBP. It's not that far from his long-assumed September fight date - roughly a fight camp - and still nothing has been set in stone....
