    Deontay Wilder use & abuse of power ensures every fight will end in a Violent fashion or at least have Violent episodes

    Rocky Marciano bloody slug-fests come as close second, Hard to see Marciano with any plan other than breaking down his opponent, it would have took a Heavyweight version of Sugar Ray Robinson to defeat Marciano, till this day no Heavyweight Sugar Ray Robinson ever existed....Deontay Wilder resembles a scaled up Welter Sugar Ray Robinson in frame, speed and power, but without the boxing skill-set

    In the Non-ATG category, lots of one dimensional fighters...Most don't make it that far

    Surely it's either Pacquiao or Armstrong.
    Both always fought exactly the same rhythm and shot selection for every round of every fight as far as I can tell.
    Both ATG successful, arguable top ten.

    By neither was one-dimensional when we are talking about technique - they had great arsenal of punches.

    Really? He is the complete opposite of one dimensional. Brilliant awkward skills, combos, speed, heart and chin. Unbeaten.

    maybe not top of the list but....Carl Froch? Tough no doubt, but not that skilled and rather crude at times. His toughness and physical strength got him through at times.

    he might have said that, Fury says a lot of things, but he definitely wasn't asleep. He looked clear eyed and fully aware of what was going on

    A lot of people are saying guys are one dimensional that aren't at all. Wilder, Hatton, Mike Tyson (huh?!), Wlad............:facepalm:

    There aren't any one dimensional fighters that can be called the best. The words best and one dimensional are mutually exclusive when it applies to boxing.

    Guillermo Rigondeaux is also pretty one dimensional when he boxes but nowadays he seems okay to come forward and actually fight inside.

    I agree sure, and it's a bit of a stretch to say someone is 1-dimensional if they always implement a successful style, I just find both Pac and Armstrong 1 paced and only with a 'plan A', although I take your point that if the plan has good shot selection and execution then it's not so 1-dimensional.
