Building himself a decent ranking, his CV doesn't have many poor names on it, either, for somebody with so many losses. Proper fighter.

I heard a few of his 'losses' should have been wins for him, as the away fighter he didn't get the nod.

If he'd have had a half decent promoter backing him, he'd at minimum have been British champ.

If you look at his previous results you could argue for a record of 13(3)-11(2)-0. Better but still not brilliant. But his recent record could be seen as being 5(2)-1-0 which is a pretty good record considering the opponents.

On Boxrec he's ranked 84 out of 1,028 Heavyweights. 7-15-2 gets you 84 in the World, pretty mad but he hasn't been stopped in 3 years and he has some decent opponents on his record. If he can improve a bit more and fight the right opponents maybe he could break into the top 50 within 18 months. 11 best British heavyweight, put him in with Sexton again as a measure of where he is.

He is no doubt a good British level chin checker but I don't think he has any intention of investing the money or time to train and prepare for a full time boxing career, remember he takes a lot of these fights on days or weeks notice, carried a lot of fighters to points wins and has been on the wrong end of home decisions. He was already an accomplished and decorated kick boxer before starting his boxing career and carries legit power. Has only been stopped by Whyte and Gorman and both have proven to be world level fighters. Would be great to hear him interviewed to get an insight into his life and career and how he came into boxing. I wonder if he knows he has gained a cult following amongst British fans.

    EDIT:
Have found this written interview online for anyone interested:

Yes it's a really interesting story. It will be fascinating to see where his boxing career takes him next.

Who promotes him? I know he’s based in the South West but he’d clearly be an asset to a Dennis Hobson for the smaller hall shows.

Did anyone watch the Browne fight? Didn’t hear anyone cry robbery afterwards but was it?

I watched the whole fight live on IG which I believe was the only way to watch a broadcast. I scored Browne the clear winner. It was a close fight. The KD was flash, Browne wasn’t hurt. Browne controlled most of the fight with the jab.

The cynic in me thinks that the massive overreaction afterwards particularly online about Kamil getting “robbed” is largely down to the perception of some that being a fan of Kamil and acknowledging his threat means you have good boxing knowledge.

It wasn’t a hard fight to score, granted there was only one camera angle and no replays.

Yeah -- I was at this one and Browne won it. Sokolowski made him work hard but only one winner.
