''Tyson's awkward, he's long, he's rangy, some days he might outbox you here and there, but I definitely laid him out before,' Whyte told Sky Sports News at a media workout in Loughborough.

'I definitely put him on his bottom. I don't like talking about sparring, but seeing as he wants to come out and say, he's put it on me in the gym and this, that, and whatever.

'Come on man, put what on who? You guys know me, you guys know what I'm like, what's he going to put on me?'

Whyte had previously welcomed the opportunity to fight Fury, and remains keen to settle their feud after his summer showdown with Rivas.remains keen to settle their feud after his summer showdown with Rivas.

'The facts are the facts, he called it on, when the "Can Man" showed, he didn't want it,' said Whyte.

'I'm the "Can Man", whoever want it, can get it.

'If Tyson Fury wants it, he can get it, but he don't want it.'

I think it's quite interesting because Whyte was due to fight Hughie Fury several years back and the Fury camp pulled out stating that they don't fight friends.

Watched that interview yesterday, and I didn't really sense much certainty from Whyte when he said that - think he may be tarkin rubbish.

Whytes a dangerous fighter but I can't see him landing on fury at all especially his money punch left hook.

Yup, I find it very hard to believe that Whyte even landed flush on Fury - let alone dropped him!

Not hard to imagine. Fury has shown no interest in fighting the man , and we've all seen grovelling about on the floor before after getting decked in the mouth

If they did fight Whyte would have to try rough him up like Parker and go to the body to slow him down. He is the body snatcher after all. Fury would be the favourite but his chin isn’t that great, one left hook is all it takes.

Well, don’t forget that Fury got dropped by Cunningham, Whyte hits a lot harder than him so it’s not so hard to believe Whyte dropped Fury. It’s sparring so who knows how serious Fury was that day, he could of been tired and beat up from previous workouts and Whyte came in fresh.

Wouldn't surprise me if Whyte and Fury are laughing behind the scenes of this 'feud'.

Whyte is ranked in the top 50, therefore Fury has no interest in fighting him

I get you man, Fury isn't completely unhittable - I just think Whyte would struggle with him, Whyte's footwork is bad and he doesn't have great hand speed.

Regardless, it's the way Dillian says it that just doesn't convince me at all - I think he's just trying to create a bit of beef to get the fight made tbh.

Yeah, what happens in the gym should stay in the gym, Whyte makes himself look dumb saying things like that.

Don't forget about Neven Pajkic. He dropped Fury. Everyone forgets.
