Allen’s in great shape. He has a great chin and all he has to do is survive the first part of the fight and Price will crumble, I can’t see anything else than an Allen KO right now - he’s clearly taking boxing a lot more seriously now.

That's how I see it. Allen knows he's getting closer to earning serious money.

Apart from that Argentinian bin man who retired in the 7th who he went life and death with, he’s never stopped anyone beyond the 4th round. There is the presumption that if you take Price beyond 4-5 rounds you’ll beat him but Allen has never shown himself to thrive beyond 4 rounds. That said, he does look in brilliant shape. It looks like they’re going to try and force Price to work at an uncomfortable pace early on but it’s always a good plan until they get punched in the head.

I’m changing my prediction on this. It’s all a bit Chisora (v Whyte 2) like for me, where he also came in in great shape. I think he’s going to lose a bit of durability as a result of losing the timber.

    Price by TKO.

I'm going the other way. I think Allen will try and move for a few rounds ( I did say try). He can take a dig as well. Allen is looking to take Price a few rounds, then try and step it up. Price knows he has to go for an early stoppage. Looking forward to this one.

    Bold pick twenty

I’ve been battling the urge to pick big pricey here. I have to stand firm with common sense and with momentum, David Allen has momentum, pricey has repeatedly demonstrated he folds mentally and physically inside a boxing ring.

Kash Ali was besting him by all accounts, pricey was a busted flush years ago, logic dictates he could land the first big right hand and put Allen to sleep of course but that’s his only out here and it’s too much of a longshot for me

Allen via mental and physical capitulation

I’m embarrassed I originally chose Allen KO.

Pricey brutally ends this white rhino train.

Your avi would suggest you should not be allowed a sensible pick in this discussion. Your posts on the subject should be stricken from record

Waaay more interested in Allen Price than the main event. I can't decide how it goes. We'll all say "it was obvious" afterwards though!

I can see the logic in going for Allen and perhaps i’m guilty for letting a bit of emotion in my judgement.
Allen has a big social media following and hugely likeable but if we’re honest, he’s domestic level at best. I think Price is also domestic level now, but he’s the best of them and dealt with Little and Kash Ali who I’d put at a similar level to Allen.

Lots of people will disagree here but I felt that Kash was very negative in that fight, wouldn’t engage and went into sparring mode. I’ve heard Pricey talk prior to that fight about sometimes having to step back when a fighter is clammed up so that they get confident and come back at you thus opening up a bit. He did exactly that against Kash and then seriously wobbled him hence Ali pulling Price to the floor and biting him (again). As soon as Little got confident he got wobbled too. Allen has a serious chin but Price has serious power.

I’ve said Price ko all along but I’ve always been worried about when he gasses. This makes me slightly more worried seeing the shape Allen’s in. He’s admitted he’s scared of Price’s power so that will have helped to be disciplined in training. I’m sticking with Price by ko simply because Allen’s defence is awful and he will get hit often early.

Whatever people say it’s certainly an intriguing fight.

I like them both, limited as they are and keep flip flopping over who I want to win.

It’s Pricey though, anything can happen.

    Oh dear oh dear
