Can Canelo just leave DAZN if he doesn't want to be bossed around by DAZN?

This.. Even when the contract was announced they said for him to cash in on the total amount he would have to fight certain fights.. He won’t get paid 33 mil for tuneup fights or underwhelming opponents that’s not good for business..

DAZN may ultimately be good for the sport.

Poor Clenelo? Do men not honor their obligations anymore?

They can’t force him to but they will have to agree to the fight and sign off showing it. If they reject the fighter proposed Canelo will have to put forward a fighter worthy of the purse.

Canelo/ GBP will also be contractually liable to provide two Canelo fights a year so from a timing perspective Canelo is up against it

Now that would be the kicker for those two. Fishnets & his red headed little cherub need both PLUS all Gingers fights must be in VEGAS!!!

Only in Vegas he would. I'm with GGG on that one It needs to be fought
away from Vegas corruption. Oscar nor Canelo have the cojones to do that though

At this stage I don’t think it makes much difference where as GGG is old and shot

Glad I’m not the only thinking that. If more networks put their foot down we’d see the fights we want sooner.

These situations always make me think of Ving Rhames and Don King only in America.

''I own you, mother****er.'' Larry Holmes quickly shut up. :p Pretty sure it was Larry Holmes. Haven't watched that movie in ages.

he probably can, but he would have to forfeit his $250 mill, or they would pro-rate it based on the 2 fights he's had with them lol

I don't know much about contracts but he signed one that gave him millions of dollars. If I recall correctly, he gets paid $35 million per fight. I know NBA players find ways to wiggle out of their contracts, but I just don't know how Canelo gets out of his without facing a major lawsuit.

Canelo thought DAZN will give him 360 million dollars to fight Rocky Fieldings.
This fool is not getting out of his contract alive.
