Next fight will be at the copper box in September against a “top 10” opponent.

    Here’s the WBO top 10.

    1. Erik Bazinyan
    2. Rohan Murdock
    3. Zach Parker
    4. David Lemieux
    5. Zac Dunn
    6. Roamer Alexis Angulo
    7. Vincent Feigenbutz
    8. Willie Monroe, Jr
    9. Aslambek Idigov
    10. Aidos Yerbossynuly

Bazinyan #1 with WBO but number 67 with Boxrec surely fits the bill.

hard to get a decent opponent when guys like Callum Smith are ducking you and running away from offers with their tails between their legs!

A disgraceful top 10 by the WBO it really is. If they were all British most of that list wouldn't be good enough to win the British Super Middleweight title. For example how many of them would beat Rocky Fielding ? I would think less than half and Rockys level is British/European.

There’s two other world champions. Make an offer to them. Canelo wants to move up, make an offer. Golovkin would come for the right money, as seen with Brook. Make an offer to him. It’s a lame excuse to hide behind when there’s plenty of other decent opponents for him.

Canelo and Golovkin are extremely unlikely. Bill has just been to Kazakhstan to try to drum up interest and demand for a fight with Golovkin. Obviously Saunders would kill for either fight. We all know that Canelo and Golovkin are tied to DAZN. There isn't a chance in hell that either would be allowed to box Saunders on BT so the onus would be on them to make an offer to Saunders and we know that's not happening. We know that if either makes an offer to Saunders, Warren WILL accept, just like he and Saunders accepted the offer to box Andrade on DAZN in the states.

Bottom line is that if Smith wanted a piece we'd have a blockbuster British world title unification to look forward to.

Whatever happens I'm sure it will be a great fight for the fans.

Why have the WBO got so many dumplings in their top 10? Surely it would be to their benefit to have better challengers, bigger names etc.?

Saunders' next fight will be another one that absolutely nobody cares about, it's inevitable.

If he would kill for either fight then why isn’t he making them an offer?

We all knew the Smith offer wouldn’t be accepted because of Sky and BT politics but they made it anyway. You yourself said BJS was willing to fight Andrade on DAZN, why not fight one of these on DAZN? Make an offer to them and await a counter offer. Make an offer to Dirrell or the Plant/Lee winner. Make an offer to Eubank, Ryder or even Chudinov.

There’s a multitude of decent fights out there for him. To say one isn’t available so you’re going back to fighting cans isn’t acceptable in my opinion. Especially when you’re supposed to be a world champion.

Even if Smith wanted the fight, Gallagher has lost his bottle, like always that muppet is all talk and no trousers.

Am I in the minority when I say I would love to see Saunders/Eubank 2 ??

In BJS defence he has gone public and asked Smiths team to make a counter offer
    Which probably wont ever come

I'm going to be honest here and admit that I do not know enough about 1,2,9 and 10 in the rankings. You have dismissed them as "cans" already. Please tell me more about their resumes and fighting styles...

I think it's foolhardy to dismiss any of the unknowns on that list as "cans" especially after you branded Ruiz a "pudding" before the Joshua fight.

    On your other suggestions:

    - Direll is scheduled to box Benavidez next and the WBC has also ordered that the winner of that fight must fight Yildrim as mandatory.
    - Warren and Saunders have made numerous offers to Eubank in the past and claim to have been messed about so it's no surprise that they aren't looking into that. In any event rumours heavily suggest that Eubank will be fighting Ryder next on ITV Box Office.
    - A quick check on Boxrec demonstrates that Chudinov has a fight scheduled already. He's a good shout but stylistically you can see that fight going the same way as Lemieux. Again, please offer your insight as to why Chudinov, who is very one-dimensional would be a better option than the unknown "cans" in the rankings.

Again, Canelo and Golovkin have signed mega-money deals with DAZN. It doesn't take a genius to work out that any offer from Saunders would be blown out of the water by DAZN so the onus is on them to make an offer. In any event, we all know that Canelo is looking at various options other than Saunders and Golovkin wants Canelo.

Again there's an overreaction when people talk about Saunders and a clear bias against him. It's all baffling since Smith just plainly ducked him.
