Zoulikha puts some heavy pressure on Demchenko - who now has a cut opened up from a headbutt - landing with both hands, but again fades about ninety seconds in with Serhey taking over in the latter half. Zoulikha down HEAVILY from a two-piece, legs completely jellied, and Demchenko jumps on him with a bunch more solid blows, yet Zoulikha weathers it all until the bell.

    10-8 Demchenko.

    48-46 Demchenko

    Round 1 Zoulikha 10-9, close
    Round 2 Zoulikha 10-9, close
Round 3 Zoulikha 10-9, very close
    Round 4 Demchenko 10-9, close
    Round 5 Demchenko 10-8
    Round 6 Zoulikha 10-9, barely

Demchenko with the cleaner blows, but seemingly slightly gassed, Hakim outworked him the vast majority of the round, but Demchenko closed stronger.

    Round 6

Zoulikha is keeping a tight guard pinched over his face, stepping left and raking down the cheeks of Demchenko with both hands. Zoulikha is shuffling either way, changing directions frequently, not allowing Demchenko to get set and line up a straight combo. Nice body shots thudded in underhanded by Zoulikha, landing below the guard as he zigzags his way in. Zoulikha is baiting Demchenko into a fencing match with the jab on the outside, both falling short. Zoulikha rolls with a Demchenko lead right while ducking to his left. They swap big right hands at mid-range, both getting blocked. Nice left hook on the liver by Demchenko.

10-9 Zoulikha, close, excellent bounce-back for a guy that looked on the verge of being KTFO in the previous round.

    57-56 Demchenko

    Round 5 Demchenko 10-8
    Round 6 Zoulikha 10-9, barely
Round 7 Demchenko wins by TKO

Massive overhand right rocks Zoulikha badly again, Demchenko follows up with a sustained volley of shots, Zoulikha just eating them, firing nothing back, the ref steps in, saving Zoulikha from a violent KTFO loss and waves it off.

    Round 7

Zoulikha once again starts well - but just as in the 5th, he falters after front-running in the first minute. BIG looping right by Demchenko has Zoulikha hurt. Too much time for him to recover, Demchenko bearing down with more looping rights, Zoulikha unable to hold or run. Ref in as Zoulikha gets battered.

    TKO7!

The Tiger has his flaws but he's damn good fighter for somebody that will be celebrating his 40th birthday in just two months. I'd say he's a fringe top 20-25 light heavy h2h, as is Hakim. He'd be 50-50 with the likes of Monaghan or Bauderlique.

So you woke up just in time not to catch Tommy McCarthy in action, @CST80? :sisi1

You didn't really miss anything. The late sub's a jabroni.

(just as well for TMVAS'ers, as Turchi would have probably hospitalized our boy.. :shakehead:)

I sparred Morrison as an amateur when he won the British title and he was solid if nothing great. He's had a rough time since Welborn gave him a pasting but I hope he gets a result tonight.
