Seeing Marquez show up in the ring for that fight built like the ****ing Hulk at 40yrs old with pimples all over his shoulders and back was a cold feeling in my stomach.

Once I saw him standing up to shots that he ran away from the first three fights I knew what was coming. A devastating roided out monster right hand to end the fight was depressing.

Seeing Bradley take that roid monster to school shortly thereafter and denying him the title was a gem of a victory. Too easily forgotten by the boxing public. But man did I feel bad for poor Mike Alvarado getting absolute holes punched through him by that hulking pimple monster was sad, sad, sad.

Takes balls to think and say that how you saw it must be 100% truth.
I had it 114-113 like the judges. Could have easily seen it 7-5 Kovalev as well. Close ass fight.

Marquez didn't suddenly just "stand up" to those same shots. He still got knocked down and also rocked on several occasions.
Pac was off balance on one leg during the first KD and he ran face first into the KO.
Not saying Marquez didn't cheat, but it didn't miraculously win him the fight.

Bradley did not school Marquez. It was a close and competitive fight, which Bradley clearly won.

Btw, 40 year olds can bulk up and become muscular and diet can affect back acne. (I think Marquez was on something tho, but not because of his looks)

Eubank stopping Benn. I was a big Nigel Benn fan and Eubank was a complete arse.

No, sorry man. A man doesn't become 40yrs and show up utterly hulking with acne all over his back and shoulders. Where the hell did the acne come from?? (hint: it came with Memo Heredia).

He was leaner at 40yrs old fighting at 147lbs than he was at 122lbs twenty years prior. That's just can't happen. Oh, and the acne...

His training methods and diet were different in his 20s.
Look at the BS he did before the Mayweather fight.
Fact is that one can become lean at 40. Or 50 or even freaking 70. Its not like humans were designed to be fat after a certain age.
And acne can be caused by a high-glycemic diet that has a lot of carbs, especially processed carbs.
Marquez also drank like 3 protein shakes a day. Something that can often lead to acne.
Go try his training methods and diet, you will most definitely see similar results.
But! Like I said, I think he was on PEDs. Mostly due to all the talk about Pac being on them and the fact that in 3 fights, Marquez could not secure a W.

Bac acne is not an automatic tell of PEDs. Its bro science and BS.

It's odd that Margarito went from allegedly being the "most feared" bludgeoning plodder into a lanky guy with a great chin and zero power...all of that - overnight.

Career win against Cotto followed by TKO stoppage against shot Mosley (that had already lost to Cotto).

And before that Mosley fight Nazhim (Mosley trainer) found plaster of Paris handwraps on Margarito - and woah...Margs had NO POWER.

Yeah, that series of events is/was extremely suspicious.

So now you've gone from a random fan in the stands to someone in one of the camps. You're an odd fella

    Hatton v mayweather.

Think how annoying mayweather was affected me the most. Here in the uk we pretty much watched ricky from the start. We,re with him at the start watched him progress....waited on him to eventually get his shot, watched him take on and beat tyszu when he got that shot....and onwards to conquer america. Was on quite a run up till mayweather. He was a class operator hatton but came up short against the real top level...dont think americans appreciate him too much....probably cause they heard good things about him....and the reality was the competion went up when he got to america...made him look not quite as good as he looked in the uk a combination of that and him regressing a bit after tyzsu. He was great to watch till tyszu tho....the clmpetition wssnt as good but he really went to work on opponents...gave them no time to breath...basically beating everyone in his way up. We did start to believe he had a chance. Mayweather just thst bit too good tho. He was annoying....but in the end you couldnt help but admire his skill. Great fight...still one of the best build ups i remember. Took a while to get over

That's why he wouldn't take a rematch because Memo was exposed after that PEDS masking fiasco

I was pretty gutted during and after the Cotto - Martinez fight. It was clear from the opening bell Martinez was done and was just there for the payday. I had heard leading up to the fight that Martinez wasn't even sparring but to see that "fight" be a PPV headlining event was revolting to me. I like Cotto and Martinez but that fight was a disgrace.

    Pac Morales 3
I liked Pac but loved Morales and to see that subtle, but undeniable, shaking of his head broke my heart. Especially thinking that with the series tied at 1 apiece the third fight might be competitive.
