Bowe at his absolute best against Tyson in his prime might be the equivalent of Hagler-Hearns at Heavyweight. Despite some early success Bowe would play the Hearns role.

 

Mike won't miss this big of a target and sloppy defense. No legs to get away so all Bowe can do is stand and slug with the guy. Huge advantage in speed to Tyson as well. Those wide left hooks and especially that looping right hand are easy for Mike to see and beat him to the punch.

Bowe gets hit way to much go look at his fight with Pierre Coetzeer he was getting tagged all nite long and Coetzer didn’t hit hard !!!! Mike Tyson would knock ruddick bowe out probably in 6 rds !!! Bowe on the inside good infighter against tall guys but Tyson in his prime was an even better in fighter !!!! Bowe not the greatest defence gets knocked out against Tyson !!

 

Mike by knock out all the way, Bowe had a good chin but a bad defence and never really fought a atg puncher, he took way too many shots to beat a fighter like Tyson.

Prime for prime it's war . I've just got a feeling that Bowe may be tagged to easily and kod , around the half way mark .

 

High contact fight. Tyson had quicker hands and was the more explosive puncher. Bowe was capable of stopping Tyson if he can put his punches together.
I gotta pick Tyson. He proved more because he was at his best more.

 

I give Bowe credit on one count he wouldn't just come to survive like some did with Tyson. Or give up the gameplan because he was shocked by Tyson's speed and power. He would be firing his own heat.
If Bowe can hurt Tyson early I think he wins because Tyson's offense would go into slowgear. It would have to hurt him bad or put him down.
Tyson then becomes the versions just bracing himself for an asswhipping. Never regaining the edge of his aggression, fluidity and workrate.

Tyson was far better than Bowe in his prime therre`s no comparison, Bowe was too easy to hit, Tyson would have destroyed Hide far quicker than Bowe did and wouldn`t have looked as sluggish, he was better at cutting off the ring and could have matched Hide`s speed better than Bowe did.
