But it is clear that Hearn desperate for it to be in the UK.

The theory is that if AJ does fight poorly again and loses, then the referee and judges fix the win for him.

This is the whole REASON why Ruiz must insist on it being in the US or Mexico, because in my view the rematch is a 12 round fight that goes to decision and he needs to make sure he maximises his chances of getting the decision.

WTF do you expect Hearn and AJ to say when ASKED questions about Wilder etc. You are dumb as they come if you believe they were just talking about Wilder for the sake of it.

He is worth as much as the rematch contract HE signed. Personally I hope Andy wins the return match. He has that JMM style of countering

They weren’t just asked questions about him. They implored Wilder to come to a meeting after the fight to talk about demands. That wasn’t a response to a question. That was the pair of those idiots thinking Ruiz was a formality.

In any event since when is it compulsory to answer a question? All they had to say, especially Joshua, when asked anything about Wilder was “let’s talk about Wilder after the fight if I win. I still have Ruiz to beat”. Loads of fighters say “I’m not looking past my opponent” or something similar. Joshua and Hearn were foolish enough to completely plan past Ruiz.

Whatever is written doesn't seem very secure otherwise there'd be no negotiation.

Ruiz has seen the contract and clearly thinks he has room to negotiate.

That tells me a I need to know.

And if there is room for negotiation, as the A side Ruiz will get his way.

So if AJ wants it in the U.K. does that mean he also quit the dream of making it big in the America?

Threadly reminder that Hearn still hasn't announced this officially, in one venue on a confirmed single date yet.

The longer the delay goes on, the clearer it's becoming that Haymon's New York lawyers have given the clause the hand shredder treatment.
