Eubank Sr said:Fastest hands: Benn or Calzaghe, depending on the criteria. For a single shot it was Benn, for a combination of shots it was Calzaghe. Only Roy Jones in his prime was as fast in either criteria of hand speed, ever, pound-for-pound. Do fans agree with what Sr said on this category?
joe for sure, but with no pop or relatively little accuracy. You can peekaboo through and walk towards him without feeling so bad. Benns punches had actual force on them,he puts his weight into them, you can see it in the way he swings, so obviously its slower. God help a man who tried to peekaboo walk through just one full force Benn punch. Benn could do fast hands like joe if he wanted but it wouldnt really help against guys like McClellan who would walk through it and KO him.
You say that George....BUT Calzaghe have Eubanks over in the 1st round ,something Benn couldn't do in 23 rounds ? Digressing slightly, It always annoyed me that Benn & eubanks did not go against Toney ...
Eubank was much worse at litterally everything by the time Joe fought him Toney probably would've beat both but they'd have made some unmissable fights
True but you keep your chin George , you keep dat chin baby. Benn went over & took apart Doug de Wit & Barkley but did not want any part of Toney & Eubanks even said of Nunn. Who needs a 6' + slick southpaw...very disheartening. They were OK , but they knew their limitations...
It can definitely fade tho, and the Eubank KD was a brilliant punch but Chris was off balance and moving backwards, had he been squared up or even just balanced he'd have stayed up imo
Thx, its just the same few people, they cant take level criticism even though I applaud their heroes feats too.
i worked out what you read now. I meant right as in right or claim, rather than right hand. too ambiguous sorry.
