It’s not an easy sell as a promotion and that is precisely why Frankie boy wanted this fight to happen down the line when both were a little more well known.

I was at the pub after work yesterday encouraging some mates to watch this fight and not a single one of them (casuals) had a clue who either man was.

That’s not Warren’s fault. Neither man has had the fanfare of the Olympics to build on.

BT are still way behind Sky when it comes to the casual boxing market. If this was a matchroom event it'd do very well.

I'm picking Gorman UD. He looks so confident and Dubois basically admits being outclassed in sparring. I just hope it's a good fight and I'm happy for either man to win. No dodgy cards hopefully.

Anyone else noticed a bit of bias from Frank and BT in the promotion of it? It’s so clear they want Dubois to win. Hope Gorman doesn’t get stiffed on the cards.

Yep. He's more marketable. Thought the same thing myself- Frank would love to take him stateside.

I predicted on the main a clear actual win for Gorman but Dubois to get it on points. It's got that type of fight written all over it.

I wouldn’t even say he’s not effected by Gorman, he looks fired up to me, but cool with it. A bit Lennox Lewis like. Dubois looks focused like he is going in for the kill, no messing about. Refreshing.

Yep. Frank basically wants to turn Dubois into Joshua.

Pre-Ruiz Joshua you mean. He definitely doesn't want to see Dubois follow in Joshua's latest footsteps.

Think Frank would take Joshua’s career now for Dubois even with the loss included. Look at how he’s propelled matchroom and sky in particular PPV’s. As a business/brand he’s still right up there at the top of the game.
