He looks so strong at 160. That’s 5 straight stoppages since stepping up. Liam Smith got the wins over him at 154 but I think William’s is a different beast at middleweight.

Great to see him bounce back after Smith. He is the better if the two IMO. It's a small bit Iof putting seeing him being interviewed however when he does that over exagerated eye blinking. It's probably just a nervous tic. Looking forward to seeing him step up at 160. Top lad.

Really like him. Despite supporting Smith in them fights the way it all was left a bad taste. I was hoping for more respect. He was winning handily a giant Smith until 6/7th. Looked scared in the second fight dunno why.

Serious fan of Williams. Hope he gets a big fight soon!

Smith was coming on very strong in that first fight. I genuinely don’t think Williams was gona make that final bell regardless of “the butt”. The second one I thought Beefy schooled him, mentally broke him before hand and I had him a comfortable winner.

At 160 though he is looking a different beast so it makes you wonder if the weight was taking it out of him and that’s why he slowed down so much in the first fight and just weren’t at it for the second.

Once GGG retires and Canelo moves up he will take some stopping.

I’d like to see him against Jeff Horn. That would be a war.

Pleased for him after getting messed around by that gravel muncher Smith.

Seems to have found his ideal weight just as he is coming into his peak years at 27, reckon he could maybe get a opportunity at a world title if Canelo vacates some of his belts.

I agree 100% on the first fight Beefy was going to stop him. In the second fight he was schooled but it was weird like Williams allowed himself to be schooled and he didn’t fancy a battle.

Good point about the weight. He seems adamant about being able to make light middle 154 easier than before but it makes you wonder what’s best when he’s performing like this. Whilst he is performing like this he shouldn’t think about moving down as opportunities will be opening at 160.

Ref from last night should be hung in the town square. Complete incompetence could have gotten a man killed.

Guy has no idea where he is, takes the count sideways to Liam who leaves the neutral corner on a run before the ref tells him to resume and isn’t made to go back ... it’s like Dempsey standing over his foe in the days before mandatory eight counts and neutral corners.

    Yank his license.

I'm a massive fan of Middleweight Liam Williams. I'd go as far as happily paying £20 pound ppv to see him and Eubank Jnr go to war.
