Someone gave an answer on Quora saying Tyson`s arching uppercut was the hardest punch to avoid because it nearly always landed, is that true? Are there other types of punches that are more difficult to avoid in boxing?

That's coz he was so quick, not the actual punch

    Holmes's jab was a ***** to avoid

the jab, of course. its got the shortest path to target, so requires quicker reaction to avoid.

Fast counter right cross. LH knocks more out though but I'd be inclined to say it's easier to avoid but when it does land obviously has more effect.

A good stiff jab. Bit of a no brainer, honestly.

    Pull counter.

Once the mofo times your jab you are exposed to a full force right hand.

Depends also how good the boxer is defensively of course. But a CHECK HOOK is hard to avoid for a aggressive boxer with bad defense.

I don't know why you bother with Quora mate - it's basically a content marketing shill site dressed up as a legit answer bank. The "experts" will tell you anything they think is likely to get you to click their profile link.

I'd say the Mark Ant punch. It appears hackneyed and predictable but it's relentless and comes in bunches.
