...that said, I haven't seen the Helenius fight, but also don't intend or need to and wouldn't read much into that result. Helenius is shot to hell, and El Gallo Negro is probably the same old C+ heavyweight that he always has been.

Slowpoke would probably stop him, yeah, but that ain't saying much.

True, and we all saw how slow Jermaine Franklin was the other night, and he still has people calling him "the best American heavyweight prospect" . (although tbf, Steve Farhood did walk that statement back after declaring that per his card Forrest had gotten badly robbed).

Speed is a helpful but not entirely necessary quality in this division.

 

But he can't cut the ring like Beterbiev does and his punches are way more telegraphed comparing tio Beterbiev's ones. He is heavyweight version of Beterbiev in terms of power and killer instinct but not in terms of skills

 

It's too early to tell, he needs some more serious fights.

 

Impossible to pick until we see this guy in with better competition.

 

Rock vs. Makh is actually kinda interesting to ponder. (and ponderous it would be...)
