    Dempsey didn't have his fast legs from late 1910s and early 1920s in this fight and that was the main reason why he lost. You can see that he still coule fight, but without speed he was beatable. Still, he landed some great combos including infamous KD. Dempsey also was very crafty at creating oportunities, but again lose of speed was a key factor.

    The fellow whose doing this deserves a medal.....at the very least he is going to boxing heaven !!.....him and reznick are the only men on earth doing this !!

    Damn, Dempsey threw a LOT of dirty rabbit punches in that fight! Most ever in a heavyweight title fight?

    Fair share of head rams and low blows too.

    And everyone said that Dempsey was the predecessor to Tyson... Maybe they meant Holyfield.

    So true ! Even here Dempsey was like an Ageing tiger , reflexes dulled but if he catches you right he's still so dangerous !
