I thinks Spinks stops Foster at 175 in the mid-rounds.

Spinks has difficulty in the early going, but finds a rhythm or different looks that Foster can't solve. Spinks by decision.

Foster gets disrespected because of his record against HW's. Heas an ATG at LH. He has the ability to catch Spinks early or Spinks catching him late but I think it goes to the cards with Spinks in a close one.

Spinks 175 resume is also way better than Foster’s.

Yes but you can only fight who's available in your time frame. That can go for many many champs who didnt have the strongest competition while they were champions

He fought Doug Jones and Mena above the limit, and lost both.

Does Spinks deliver the Spinks Jinx on him? I am not sure Bob Foster was darn tough.

Foster has possibly the thinest resume among ATG LHWs. He was extremely powerful but one dimentional and he lacked durability of other greats from that class.

He's much more of a h2h great than ATG. Kind of like Vitali

I'm not sure I see him that way though. He had real power which could change the outcome of the fight but his durability issues would cost him badly against guys like Tunney, Ezzard, Moore, Fitz, Greb, Langford and yes also Spinks. He had really good jab but his defense was also flawed, at least in my opinion.

Still clearly top 10 LHW ever but I don't see him as one of the best H2H among this top 10.

I haven't done a h2h list for LHW yet, once I'm done doing this James Toney thread I'll get on it properly, I think Bob beats Greb, Bivins, Marshall, Jones, Rosenbloom and Loughran. That's like more than half of my top 10.
And he has 50-50s with Fitsimmons, Langford and Spinks

I rate him highly as you can see.
