That is Jeff all over , an Aussie boxer's are in a leaking boat da silly contract's given . Most of em walk away . If U don't sign a contract doors will close up . Jerkic could be da only pro in Australia that has no contract deal .
Fenech is no saint and I don't rate him as a trainer but he has far more credibility than Cobra Kai Rushton. Fenech has forgotten more about boxing than Rushton will ever know. Rushton is the moron who said that Horn was just starting to come on in the 9th round of the Crawford fight.
As 1 our best boxer he obviously has more credibility then anybody in this country but outside of fighting,as a trainer and when talking about others he has little to no credibility
Horns trainer may have been incorrect about Horn coming on in the 9th as he was clearly outclassed against 1 of the top 3 fighters in the P4P fighters in the world Crawford,Horn does have a history tho of coming on strong in the later rounds including in fights he had been knocked or hurt. World title fights and big fights need to refereed differently to standard fights, since elite fighters ability to recover from damage is better and fighters should be given every chance to overcome the damage and the very least fights not stopped unless they are basically KO'd on there feet, that ref in that fight Robert Byrd has an awful reputation for stopping big fights early.
Hmm, nothing from which it can be determined whether or not he can actually develop talent soup to nuts, though..
He may have been incorrect? LOL Crawford hardly got out of second gear he only just started turning up the heat and Horn folded like a lawn chair. Fancy trying to blame the referee in that fight but be ok with the refereeing in the Pacquiao Horn fight LOL such a fan boy.
Fenech is better than most with the right fighter but is to emotional and tries to wear to many hats..taking on to many fighters, promoting, being a c list celebrity, security at Brighton, watch salesman etc. In some ways he is like the Ricky Stuart of boxing trainers. Ricky in some circles is known as the GGT, the games greatest thinker. In theory he is a keen analyst and has a vast knowledge of technical aspects of his chosen field accumulated through years of practical experience at the elite level. In practice for the most part he is just an angry short arse wjth a hot missus.
Don't bother replying to my posts If you aren't going to read what is said ,your need to continue to outright lie is pathetic and it's clear who the clueless delusional fan boy is here. I didn't blame the referee at all and I clearly said Horn had been outclassed by Crawford.
Not many boxing fans would've got passed your first line " Horns trainer may have been incorrect about Horn coming on in the 9th" That alone shows that you are a fan boy. Crawford who started his career as a lightweight made Horn look like a right mug. Crawford would not handle Thurman, Porter, Pac or even Danny Garcia as easily as he handled Horn.
Fortunately most people aren't as dumb as you clearly are, getting caught up making incorrect assumptions about something as obvious as my statement about Rushton being wrong for what he said
It was clear as day that Rushton was wrong anyone doubting that it a moron Horn did not win a single second of that fight he was dominated and made to look like a novice against a guy who hardly got out of second gear.
Quote by Horn......... I did land one punch on him, i can't remember which round it happened. Even the Aussie judge gave every round to Crawford.
You don't think he is 1 of the top trainers in the country currently? Being able to even train 1 guy from nothing into a world champ like he did with Horn is hard enough
Junior Middleweight update - Michael Zerafa has been sparring Daniel Lewis in Sydney & reportedly doing very well. I was concerned that Zerafa would be light on for sparring with Joel Camilleri relocating to Brisbane. Travelling to Sydney to obtain the best sparring he can get suggests he will be well prepared for his fight with Horndog.
