Joyce/Dubois sounds great to me. Dubois stoppage for me. Joyce is too slow and too open for that enthusiasm and power.
Dubois is AJ2 so similar it’s scary, same left right finishes when he stiffs trouble he’s straight on it. Got to stop the muscle mass cos think in a battle he will gas. Hats off to him though he done a job on Gorman. I’d put him in with Jennings to see if he can better Joyce performance then Joyce, then Chisora then a Whyte then WT fight end 2020 beg 21. Gone up few notches on my card tonight.
I think Dubois could be everything people believed/hoped Joshua would be. Basically AJ with pedigree and stamina. That's a hugely exciting prospect.
You’re bigging him up to fail, let’s just see where he is first. Gorman was very poor, wanted to slug it out with a better fighter - we have no idea where Dubois is.
The hype (or hope) for Dubois is getting a bit out of hand here. He's a decent prospect, at 21 years old. He's developing well. But he's yet to fight anyone. People seem to be being a little unfair to Joshua as well, talking like he was some sort of "false messiah" and Dubois is the real one. Look, I'm one of the first to say Joshua was over-hyped, been saying it for years, but Dubois will do very well to emulate Joshua's achievements, let's not get that twisted.
I don’t feel like I’m overhyping him, I still reckon he will do extremely well to become world champion. He’s got the likes of Usyk, Hrgovic, Yoka, Dychko and that’s before you mention Wilder, Fury and Joshua. But I think the likes of Whyte and Joyce have been overrated and propelled in to a false position IMO and they aren’t very good. If they were fighting tomorrow I’d back Dubois to beat them right now.
Not yet but Joyce hovering outside my top ten puddings list. Gorman is young and credit to him for taking on such a dangerous opponent.
