Is there anyone who could take a 15 round decision from him? Other than Ali the only one I think that could possibly do so is Rocky Marciano.
This..You need size on Frazier, height and good on your legs, im not sure Holmes could keep Joe off him for 15 though. Lennox and Wlad could blast the much smaller Frazier out imo, not really a fare fight down to the HUGE size difference
No because i think Lewis would stop him. Frazier would force Holmes to trade quite often over 15 and it would be interesting to see if Larry could get thru those last few rounds. Frazier just kept smoking late and put immense pressure on. If he did i see it for Frazier by a few points and both would be hurt at stages and maybe even hit the canvas.
i even think someone like Evander would outlast him and back him off during exchanges. Frazier just didnt have enough going for him and took too much punishment in certain fights and we certainly saw his limitations against those fighters
Holmes maybe, Lewis? no way , Joe would be in his grill 3 minutes of every round chopping him down, Lewis would wilt like wet lettuce around the 10th and the ref rescues Lennox in the 12th.
Maybe Holmes, I'd still take a prime Frazier to wear Larry out in a 15 rounder. Larry never faced the kind of pressure Joe would bring
