I really hope you're right but I've seen Rivas outside of the Jennings fight and I wasn't particularly impressed by him at all. He's a bit one dimensional to me and I don't buy into his power either. Maybe if he does shell up and Whyte acts as you suggest then he could catch Whyte gassing a bit. We'll see.

Sorry mate full capacity at neighbour's window - word got out and there was a Wimbledon type queue starting at 1am on 1 June for the Tony Dosh v Rice Pudding Ruiz Jnr fight.

Rivas’ physique is nuts. He reminds me of Yoel Romero in that his upper body is so heavily muscled.

Then Dave Allen knocks out a fitter Browne in half the rounds - the shame! A Rivas win, & Hearns running out of hype - cue Buatsi - fast tracked as the next Sugar Ray Leonard ;)

I’d be interested to know his amateur record. I can’t find figures anywhere.

Anyway, can’t wait for this fight.

Best Ruiz and Pulev, other than that I can honestly say I know nothing about him.

I’d love it if he won though, Whyte is far over hyped. I genuinely think this is a cherry pick though.
