Tried to tell you guys....this man is going nowhere near Sergey Krusher Kovalev. A simple stunt to push GGG into pauper money. Adios Amigo.

95% you'll be force fed a christmas massacre of Clenelo v. Munguia.

    Sucks for us fans.

I'm surprised even his detractors are disappointed. That's how big Canelo is.

The best/necessary fights are not happening in boxing and people are crying and don’t understand why UFC took over.

But it's quite possible he did it exactly in order to fight Kovalev.

Yes, Canelo is kind of dodging Golovkin... For a couple of reasons. And Golovkin's rather dumb words that DAZN's the boss and Canelo would do as he's told didn't help at all.

I have the impression that Canelo might be losing his passion for boxing (might be really really tired of it). So, he wants to do something crazy. Especially if he has a realistic chance to pull it off.

They sent Kovalev a nice offer for 6-8 mil with perks, plus if Krusher beat him he would get 10 mil for the rematch. All Kovalev had to do was sign.

In contrast I believe Kovalev was guaranteed 2 mil for ward plus perks, and for the rematch he had ZERO guarantee and only PPV and gate.

I do agree that they possibly don't want to deal with GGG anymore, or at the very least they feel GGG needs to work his way to another payday by fighting some of the other top fighters. Its literally Canelo cleaning up the MW division by himself, Jacobs helped a bit by fighting Derevyanchenko who GGG FLAT OUT DUCKED.

This is more of a big MIDDLE FINGER to GGG for being a little diva and taking on easy opponents, and DAZN for not pushing GGG to fight tougher opposition.

Dazn calls the shot. They gave him hundreds of millions and want to recoup thier investment. Only way Dazn sign of on any one of his fight is if it makes sense money wise. Reason his next fight is being pushed is because Dazn doesn't like what they have lined up as next opponent.

The fight will happen, DAZN wants the fight, GBP wants the fight and GGG wants the fight. September is simply not enough time to hype the fight. It will happen in November or December

Kovalev said that he was offered 6 mil and not 8, and no perks. Also, he would have to pay a lot to Yarde to step aside. So, the deal was garbage.

So DAZN rather make ZERO money? Doesn't make sense. EIther Canelo fights in Sept. against Andrade and oulls in some subscribers or doesn't fight at all and doesn't pull in any subscribers. The former is better.

The truth is simple, Clenelo doesn't want to fight Golovkin again, he knows that he got whooped twice and wants to get out of the third whooping. He's even willing to jeopardize his DAZN contract to avoid GGG.

    Want a prediction?

The moment Golovkin announces a fight for September, Clenelo will announce one for December, and claim that he wanted to fight GGG but, gee, golly, Gennady was busy :nusenuse: No duckery here, nossirree!

Also, only dumbos are still stuck on the argument that GGG's "getting a payday" by fighting Canelo again. The contracts are what they are. Golovkin is gonna get the same for fighting Canelo as he'llget for fighting Rolls. Maybe Pednelo should take a break from fighting GGG's leftovers and face the main man himself. Sadly DonnyMo is probably right: we're gonna get Canelo / Munguia for Xmas pudding. :loko2gaydude:

It's simple math. 365 millions. How many big fight can they get out of him in his prime. 10 fight left comes to 35 million a fight they are paying Canelo. Add in his opponent fee, venue, marketing and they are pushing 40 million plus just to setup the fight. Dazn wants to reap the money while he is young and prime. Not wait till he gets old, injured, or someone lands an a haymaker and gives him his first lost. Fighting Andrade would come out to a financial lost. Little interest in that fight.

I don't know man, compare that to the deal Duva got him for the Ward rematch. And how much is he really making against Yarde. Also, Kova would be the favorite and if he wins he has a 10 mil guarantee.

Whatever the case, Kova could have signed, even if it was for peanuts like he did for the Ward rematch, and since most feel Canelo would get beat or KO, then it could have been worth it.
