Baldo actually had the better resume, his win over Zab was better than anything Margo did back then. Lastly PBF was not offered 10 million for Margo he was offered 8 with no PPV upside. PBF fought Baldo for 8 million plus PPV money and a shot at the lineal championship and his freedom from Arum. To be honest, Mosley's style is probably more effective against Margarito. He held him and didn't let him get off. Tommy does not hold. Styles aside, Tommy is a better fighter than Shane and he'd KO Marg. Marg's chin is iron but it wouldn't matter.
CJ, break it down. How does Tony get past Tommy's jab with no defence? How does he avoid his right? How does Toney get to someone, with the power to KO him in a punch, who has better footwork? What does Tony bring to the table that Hearns hasn't beaten? How does he get past the range of the Hitman? There is no answer here, Tony gets cut up by the jab and left without an eye from the right. Other than a freak KO he cannot win, Hearns does everything better except take a punch. This won't be like the Pacquiao and Mosely fights, this would be a one sided brutal beatdown with a cold KO Stoppage in a matter of 4 rounds or less. What happened to him would seem like an answered prayer compared to what would happen to him if he fought Hearns. Tony is a tough guy, a strong willed warrior, worthy of respect...but doesn't have the tools to win a fight with Hearns. Hearns is too fast, has better feet, has the more devastating power, and I don't care how good your chin is you get hit long enough, clean enough, you'll be stopped.
