Pinklon Thomas was a poor man’s Larry Holmes Don Curry was a poor man’s Sugar Ray Leonard Milton McCrory was a poor man’s Tommy Hearns Chris Eubank Jr. is a poor man’s Chris Eubank
Good comparison. Curry like Leonard relies on quick reflexes and upper body movement for defence and fast handspeed with unerring sharp and accurate shots for offence. Curry tended to keep a higher guard while Leonard had flashier footwork and was more versatile overall but then this is why Curry was a poor man’s version of Leonard.
The king of this has to be Adrien Broner. The guy is a second rate carbon copy of Floyd Mayweather from his style both in the ring and out of it, hell he's even copied some of Floyd's mannerisms during final instructions and in other ways. Zab Judah was a poor man's Pernell Whitaker (RIP). Also I'd say Anthony Joshua is a poor man's Lennox Lewis
