The Toy Bulldog vs The Motor City Cobra Who wins over 15, 18.5 ring, ref from the 50s? I got Hearns winning the rounds with his jab until he sets up a right hand with the force to hurt Mickey, he'd definitely take some softening up and I think Tommy's jab and left to the body would do that. I like Mickey to come forward swinging and get hit with jab after jab before Tommy realises he can land some wicked right hands, and does. Walker has one of the greatest chins pfp, but Hearns' power was frightful. He'd go down. In the end they'd all go down.
If Tommy tries to brawl, he's gonna get knocked out quickly in a shoot out that sees Walker's chin carry him. If Tommy tries to box, Walker slowly breaks him down with immense workrate and brutal body punching. Hearns gasses late rounds and is stopped Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. I pick Walker
Walker in a completely different league. Ko in 2. Body punches then right to the chin followed by one of the greatest left hooks ever. It would be easy work.
Walker was clearly a lot more durable, and he was very comfortable fighting men with physical advantages. It could end up looking a bit like the Hagler fight.
Walkers gonna get him at 160 faster than 147 … WW is a good matchup and Hearns is going to UNLOAD on him. If Tommy boxes him and not slugs it out, could go down to the wire, maybe Walker stops him late when Tommy gases.
Lol. Tommy Hearns "easy work" and ko in 2 against Mickey Walker who was in a "completely different league." You're clearly one of those clowns who has never seen a friggin boxing match in color. Everyone has the right to their own opinion and ****, yours just sucks and is wrong -- fact. Go back to the black and white films with straight ass for quality. You and you're opinion and "knowledge" deserve no better. Lol.
Look another thread asking could a guy from a inferior era where the athletes were less athletic and the boxers were less skilled against a modern fighter who had modern athleticism and modern skills. Tommy Hearns would of destroyed any fighter during that era with little effort.
