Warrington not wanting to give Galahad rematch

    What a load or horse dung...

    Warrington wants bigger and better things than another stinker with Winstrol Barry....He didnt want the fight in the first place and got way too wound up before the fight....for what its worth i thought Galahad kinda old man/skooled him and cannot blame Warrington putting it behind him and going into the real big time

    Maybe time for Galahad to chase the big fights - how about Prince Patel in Ulan Bator with both denied exit from Mongolia

    You can understand why Galahad would want it but Warrington wants and deserves better things, he probably has about 4 years left in the sport max

    No issue with this, if Galahad wants it again, needs to force the issue by winning a few big fights

    I think Galahad won by a point or two but it was a horrible fight. If Galahad could add some offence to his game he would probably beat Warrington easily

    The fight suffers from underdog syndrome. Before the fight, JW was a big favourite and widely expected to win well. KG ran him very close - people are now over exaggerating the underdogs performance rather than watching it on merit. Very close fight, couple points in it, I scored it to Warrington.

    Warrington didn't want to fight him in the first place.
    He got a hometown decision and doesn't want to fight him again.
    He beat wee Carl easily so he would be happy to fight him again.

    It’s ring generalship & effective aggression vs defence, as we all know these are 3 of the 4 things a fight is scored by. Judge A might place more value on what they see as a fighter trying to force the action, Judge B might appreciate the skill in nullifying an opponent more. It’s whatever you’re into.

    Warrington did force the action more, and Galahad nullified the action more effectively. So the result is down to personal interpretation.

    As for the rematch, Galahad needs to force himself back into a mandatory position. Although I believe he won, he made the mistake of leaving the interpretation down to the judges, which is a mistake especially when you’re the away fighter.
