I pasted this question for people who have stated Tyson had semi-learning difficulties, what do fans think of Mike`s intelligence in and out of the ring?

Probably worse as he would over think things and be scared stiff to get in the ring.

With an IQ of 145 he would have ended up being the kind of boxer that gets punched in the face, says screw this and ends up teaching a 101 science class at a junior college. Or maybe an AP class at a private high school.

Tyson comes off as a fairly intelligent insightful guy out of the ring with mood issues

But lets say Tyson was suddenly genius IQ IMO it would be bad for his style which was %100 instinctive ability coupled with a high end style that was a perfect fit for his capabilities....IF in this scenario he had a genius IQ which this thread implies he does not then by the scenario he would more than likely overthink his responses and not have been the force he was.

I don't see the point of this thread

Tyson's flaws, to me, have always been his stamina, heart and consistency as champ

Dunno what IQ has to do with that

    An overly analytical one, probably.

My hunch is that Tyson actually has a pretty high IQ.

I think that this was always part of the problem.

He was a person with a high IQ, and all the instabilities that go with it, born into a broken family.
