    Nakatani has filled a moat with sharks with frikkin lasers on their heads, at least in López's imagination. López unwilling to cross it, lest he run afoul of that long thudding left jab. Nakatani holding López at bay with just the single punch (let alone needing to use a second hand). López finally gets desperate in the final minute and leaps in with a three-piece, all missing or skidding off Nakatani's chest as he drifts backward into a corner and then snaps a pivot-turn. More jabs score for Nakatani outside. Leaping gazelle hook by López, grazing.

    My scoring typically doesn't diverge from you guys' like this, but Nakatani to me is almost completely ineffective offensively. Lopez doesn't do much, either, but he does get in the occasional explosive counter.

    I have 6-2 Lopez.

    López does better now encircling Nakatani at close orbit, popping jabs and rights into the head on the way by, and then switching it up and planting his feet to drill a right hand and follow up with a left hook. Nakatani turning in place and defending well, then when his turn arrives once López quiets down, he lands some jabs and cricket-bats some rights into the body.

    Super close round, Teo doing juuuust enough.

    5-3 Lopez. Maybe 6-2. Lopez is landing the harder shots. Not gonna fall into the trap of just scoring rounds for the big underdog as people are prone to do. It’s competitive. Nakatani slightly busier. Lopez landing the hard stuff.

    Dadashev is being prepped for emergency surgery now, his family in Russia hasn't been reached yet, they're waiting on hearing from them about his allergy history apparently.
