    On a side not has Allen ever looked good in a fight?

    Not sure where the hype came from?

    Never seen him look anything other than awfull so not sure how he's made it this far. But fair play to him he's made a few quid off of being a nice guy.

    He would but they are both "British level"

    You can't call gorman above that level as he's not beaten anyone to prove it even though he has the potential to go further.

    Used my eyes in the Dubois fight and he was absolute ****, what am I missing?

    Chisora saying on IFL that Dave Allen was in the bar until 2:30am last night. I know he doesn’t drink but that’s awful prep, he should be in fight mode not chatting to fans.

    I really hope he does retire. I wanted them to throw the towel in after round 6. I know people like @vargasfan1985 were talking about how great his chin is, well you’re right in a way but at what cost? Having a good chin is not enough and the hype meant that he stayed in there much longer than he should have done.

    I wish the lad well, he’s done well but get out of the sport whilst you can.

    Now that the dust has settled and it seems like Dave is ok, it’s also worth pointing out that he slated Joshua in many interviews for “quitting” when Joshua technically didn’t quit, yet tonight Allen asked Barker to stop the fight. Sure it was because he knew he was hurt but that’s some karma on a plate right there.

    Dubois is levels above both. Gorman is levels above Allen. Allen is a journeyman, why won't people accept this?

    ****ing scumbag conman. Journeyman who has lied and cheated the fans. Has been in shape for 1 fight in his career. He was eating KFC the week of the Lenroy Thomas fight! And people like this conman? **** off!
