No Pacquiao was simply the better fighter.

He would have beaten everyone else except Spence and Crawford so doubt it.

I wouldn't say finished. He just isn't (and never was) elite. He has a good all around skillset but doesn't do anything exceptional. I think he is capable of some upsets, but also the potential to get sparked by someone he should beat.

He is an idiot though and I could care less if I ever hear his ridiculous lispy braggadocios a** ever again. He is corny as they come.

He wouldn't beat the upper echelon of WW's- specifically Spence or Crawford. He really has a tough time with fighters who target the body. His movement would still make him a top 4 or 5 WW in the division but I can't see him ever being considered an elite WW. Too much time off and he's in his 30's now.

Not necessarily so. But his "One time" power is definitely overrated and his chin is very suspect. Maybe he will officially accept the "Runtime" nickname and continue his boxing career.

He'll probably move to Tibet with his wife, and play the flute, never to be heard from again.

It's what happens when you take two years off to become a flute playing hippie. The Thurman that fought Porter, and Garcia wouldn't have lost to Pac.

Not at all. It was just a huge step up in competition for him. He came on well in the 2nd half of the fight but even at 40 Pac proved to be the better fighter last night.

Who is not in his physical prime. If he were in his physical prime, Pacquiao would have closed the show in convincing fashion.

Who’s fault is that two years off? And the Pac that annihilated Cotto, Margarito and Mosley wouldn’t have ‘lost’ to Mr iv. But Floyd wanted to wait that fight out a bit and that WASN’T Pacs fault. :)

    Pac >>>>Thurman

    DEAL WITH IT

Thurman is still in his prime and still a top WW.
    He's far from finished.

these threads are ridiculous. He lost a close fight and it was his first loss and it was to a legend. If he got KO'd early by a bum thats when these threads should be made.
