Prime G.Foreman was better by a mile, possibly two. He annihilated a ATG twice, and a bunch of very goods. Wilder is a paper champion if their ever was one, 1st decent fighter he faced he lost too. Foreman would destroy Wilder if they fought. Hell I would've picked Old Foreman to beat Wilder tbh.

Is this even a serious question?

Wilder's best win is over somebody ranked something like #5!

He has fought three ranked contenders, and one of them beat him in all but name.

He has a lot of road to run before we should even ask this question!

Foreman has a better resume than Wilder and accomplished more than him, but h2h I think Wilder would TKO Foreman

You think so? Then maybe boxing isn't the sport you should follow. Maybe you should stick to golf.

Foreman had a better chin, was physically stronger, had more skills, had more heart, had more courage. Wilder has been fighting 12 years and his best win so far came against Luis Ortiz who existed before the Big Bang. With in a year of turning pro Foreman was fighting guys like George Chuvalo who was better than anybody Wilder faced. Hell even in Foreman's comeback Gerry Cooney was still more dangerous and better than anybody Wilder has faced. Then you throw in the Tommy Morrison's, Evander Holyfield, Michael Moorer, Pierre Coetzer, Axel Schulz, Lou Savarese and others. A none cocaine using Bert Cooper would of knocked out Wilder.

I personally think Tyson Fury is better than George Chuvalo but I agree with the overall point that you're making.

I've always felt that Wilder's camp was taking easy fights and bringing him up slowly to avoid the Klitschko brothers because they felt that he wasn't ready for them. Then he conveniently fights for Vitaly's vacant title and make no effort to unify the belts.

Wlad had once commented that Wilder should step up his level of competition so they can put together a fight. After Wlad lost to Fury and Joshua that's whan Wilder's camp felt their man is now ready for the top level. But he has a long way to go to get to the Foreman level legacy.

If Wilder retired tomorrow it would be hard to put in him in the top 25.

I agree with you. Wilder punches as hard as any fighter I've seen, he has excellent stamina/belief in himself, he punches as hard in the 12th round as the first round, and his quickness in closing distance is amazing. An excellent athlete who had the toughness and confidence to become a world class boxer. There may well be a heavyweight out there now who can beat Wilder, but it won't be a slow, plodding, 6-3, 215 pounder who lacks stamina.
