Manny Pacquiao vs. Mikey Garcia at 140lbs

I don't think you're being biased. But I think you underestimate Pac's power and boxing skills. Lipinets reconfigured Mikey's face. I think Pac would stop Mikey. And Pac wouldn't fade because he's not dealing with the physicality of guys 10-15 pounds heavier than him.

 

mikey has never been hurt, even when taking a beating from the strongest welter in the world. and lips aint no joke, hes dropping dudes at welter, and keeping em down. you saw how well mikey blocked and parried when spence unloaded on him. he never considered throwing in the towel, even when his brother was seriously considering it.
mikey wont be shelling up when pac darts in to do his thing, he will half step back, or pivot to the side, and counter as soon as pac reaches range.
not saying pac cant pull another rabbit out of the hat, hes not an atg for nothing, i just see more advantages on mikeys side at this point of pacs career.

 

Mikey doesn't want Pac. Hell even Robert Garcia was like no man, only recently since he hit 40 was Garcia saying they could fight Pac. But now after this, there is no way those boys in Oxnard want any of this.

Styles make fights and manny lunging ducking over hand left was made for mikey to half step oneside and counter. I wll take mikey in this one. This will be beautiful fight to watch

 

This. PAC is too old to be cutting weight. Garcia should start fighting regularly at 147 anyway, since 140 is dead at the moment.

 

Mikey might eventually find his timing, but he will be taking punishment in the first 6 rounds. Will Mikey still be standing? Pac is a far more dynamic puncher than Spence. Mikey could see everything Spence was throwing, but I guarantee Pac will hurt Mikey.

 

i think we will be able to test our theories once again. mikey fight makes sense for pac next year, especially once mikey dispatches danny from the picture. they might go with khan for the money, but i think manny wants legacy too, and mikey offers both. roach knows mikey will be much better regarded historically than khan will.

 

Fighters with good jabs and timing have slowed the attack of pac a little. Mikey has a good jab and footwork to neutralize some of the punishment and carry pac deep.

 

If Pac doesn't K.O. Garcia within 6 rounds then i can see another SD going either way.

This is now my prediction for all remaining Pacquiao fights.

manny reminds my of my boxing idol, arguello, when he was speaking about boom boom. real stand up guys.
another thing i notice about manny now, that will be crucial in his future fights, and will be a factor against mikey, is that manny overcommits often. hes getting khanlike. only difference is that pac is aware enough to duck out when its a set up. but he can be caught with the first counter when he overcommits.

The other Garcia would pose more threat, TBH.
