Foreman vs Wilder: Who is better

Wilder and FMJ have on e thing in common.....they loose EVERY fantasy fight in the classic section courtesy of the arm chair pistoleros posters who after watching a few you tube clips are now "experts" in the sport while never even seen a gym of ANY kind inside......

In real life , FMJ never lost a fight and so far Wilder has not lost a fight either despite being called a "bum" from said "experts"........yet when this "bum" lays out Fury, the Walking Heavybag Whyte and the Bodybuilding Quitter AJ they just got beat a bum Wilder......if Wilder is a bum are those fighters then triple bums ?

 

Until Wilder beats someone like Frazier and Norton he cannot be seen as better.

 

Ortiz on all of his PEDs doesn't have a tenth of the power Foreman does

 

I wouldn't even mention Wilder and Mayweather in the same sentence to be honest.

Wilder has had a grand total of three fights against men ranked in the top ten, and he lost one in all but name.

 

I'm familiar with George, he had excellent ring craft and might be the best heavyweight ring cutter ever. But he definitely wasn't quicker punch for punch, step for step than Ortiz. Agree to disagree I guess.

 

If he wins the Fury rematch?

He almost did against Ortiz, but Ortiz was old and got tired very quickly. Lyle was in far better condition than Ortiz.

Hopefully Ortiz will fare better in rematch, so far it's by far his best (and only good) win.

 

I personally think Foreman is overrated but he is a dangerous monster. He's just not Superman. I don't see a Foreman-Lyle type scenario unfolding because I'm not so sure about Wilder's whiskers being made of titanium.

Jack McAuliffe was also unbeaten. I assume you rate his chances against Mayweather.

Wilder's record has more fluff than a plush poodle, and everyone is unbeaten until they get beat, being unbeaten midway through your career doesn't count for much. Wilder has stepped up twice to fight opponents relevant at all at this level, he scrapped through his fight with Ortiz (though still a deserved win), and got a gift draw with a serously diminished Tyson Fury. Neither is on the level of Smoking Joe.

I don't see classic heaping much praise on Whyte and Joshua so I don't know where that came from.

 

What the actual **** how is this even a debate

 

So? You are choosing a far from prime Foreman to make your argument. Try the Foreman who obliterated Ken Norton at the top of his game not a rusty Foreman.

No human being is a Superman but Foreman whom I watched live is the most powerful human force of nature I have ever seen in a boxing ring. Physically incredibly powerful and punching power that has to be seen to be believed in both fists. Add to this that he was fearless, fierce and totally determined. VERY FEW former hwt champions could last the first five rounds vs the best Foreman.

 

It's a boxing forum. I've seen worse...

 

Foreman is not the most powerful force user in Star Wars history! This is what I'm talking about. He didn't even hit the hardest in his era. He didn't even face the hardest punchers in his era, sans Ron Lyle.
