Mancini = Pac > Floyd, Top 30 All Time

Barrera = Pac second only to Ali

Chavez Sr. = Pac is the GOAT

Ray Mancini should never be quoted again after last week when he suggested that he might have beaten Whitaker.

I don't see how this is controversial.

Max Kellerman said it best. You can argue both ways but Pacquiao has definitely accomplished more than Floyd. Simply comes down to whether you value Floyd being 50-0 and winning H2H vs. Manny winning titles in 8 divisions and having the more impressive wins/finishes.

He was only 20 and took a far more experienced and primed out Arguello into deep waters before ultimately drowning himself.

Mancini is better than most people realize.

    Also notable:
    1. Mancini received a check for Saturday that depended on Pacquiao
    2. Barrera got his ass kicked by Pacquiao
    3. Chavez likes the guy who lost to Morales and Marquez over the guy who humiliated Canelo and Marquez.

Drowning himself? No, more like getting drowned by an all time great.

I know full well that Mancini was a good fighter. He had impressively beat Jose Luis Ramirez right before the Arguello fight.

But he sure as Hell wouldn't beat Whitaker.

It is definitely arguable. Their lower weight resumes are both good, and if just taking the W as a W, then Pac's lower weight resume is better than Floyds. At the higher weight, Pac fought some of Floyd's leftovers, while Floyd often took the path of least resistance. They both avoided Williams, as well. However, Pac did fight a prime Cotto, and also Clottey. I don't see anywhere on Floyd's welter resume where he took on two guys who were as at their peak as Cotto and Clottey were when Pac fought them. Floyd waited for guys to get old, or in the case of Canelo, threw a catch weight at him, and dived in head first as he knew Canelo was solid, but not yet top level material. Also more recently, Pac fought Thurman, while Floyd ducked Thurman, and opted to fight Maidana, and Berto, instead of Thurman. There really isn't an excuse to be fighting Devon Alexander's leftovers, twice, and Berto, when an undefeated young buck was available. It all came down to lack of confidence/safety first though with Floyd in the second portion of his career.

Yea my point was that Mancini took Arguello into deep waters which he did. But Mancini ended up drowning. Cuz he was eventually totally broken down.

youre that dumb kid who believes robert guerrero is a better win for floyd than thurman is for pac, lol. guerrero, who is a career feather, fought about 30 fights before moving up to lightweight for more money, then up to welter to fight floyd. and why do you believe this? cause youre an insecure little fanboy who is too scared to handle reality. thurman drops a big deuce on guerrero at welter.
youre a weakling, with a weak mind and weak character.

Multi-division champ, undefeated at world level, on pfp lists, knocked off a contender and contender/former champion leading up to Mayweather, and lastly, full sized welter. Yes that’s better than chilling out in Nepal for two years before going life and death with a 35 yo Josesito Lopez.

Sorry to hurt your feelings, bro.
