So one poster recently said that Hughie schools Dillian. I'll give you a hint, he is not just a troll.

Anyways, is this a reasonable tick over fight for Whyte should he be made to wait a little longer for a title shot???

Does he gain anything from this? Or is Hughie in anyway risky for Whyte?

It's a good tick over fight in the sense that Eddie can say it's a former title contenders, he's well known and no real threat

But it doesn't improve his standing with other governing bodies, I know he doesn't need it now but he still maybe waiting 2 years for his shot, if it was me I'd be dragging up Manual Charr or on the phone to Don King about Trevor Bryan

Him vs Chisora/Kayabeal/Gorman could be somewhat interesting fights

    I think Whyte would win.
Hughie is probably well capable of making Whyte look bad but he doesn't commit to landing punches. Even against an ancient Sam Peter he was flicking a jab that fell several inches of target. He needs to do better than that to have a hope against Whyte.

Whyte is avoiding taller fighters for a reason.. That been said, Fury is just not very good and has feather fists. I think it could go either way.

I think Whyte would win. In his prime, on a great run of form, too aggressive and too strong.

Hughie would probably make Whyte look bad at times but ultimately doesn't have the strength, size, experience or know-how to keep Whyte off him for a whole fight.

I think Hughie is decent, but nowhere near his cousin in ability and doesn't have the same physical advantages either.

Hughie Fury should muscle up or go down to cruiserweight. He's not slick enough to compensate for his lack of strength. He'll lose to all decent heavyweights.

He'll probably beat him, but I wouldn't want to see it.
I expect it would be very ugly and probably ends up a decision, in which the dancing with the stars and Ali's sunglasses fans are claiming Hughie should have gotten the nod.

The difference in foot speed and movement is ridiculous. Whytes feet are in quicksand. But he would probably just end up chasing him around and maybe nicking rounds. Close fight.

Whyte beats up and stops Hughie.

Wouldn't be a fun fight to watch either with Fury's spoiling tactics and lack of willingness to actually trade. It isn't pure boxing when you lose the rounds due to lack of activity.

If I'm Whyte I have a tick over Xmas time and then title fight next year.
