People need to realize that drugs aren't why Pac looked so good for 40

Pac lost steam after the 6th round. It happens when you are old. But a younger Pac would of annihilated Thurman.

Pac now throws a lot more jabs and is more of a counter puncher. Of course he always loved to counter his opponents, but what would follow were explosive surges in offense. Nowadays it's more about speed than power.

If anything drugs can help to improve his stamina. His stamina looked dogshite. I saw him tired from the 5th round and exhausted by the 8th.

He didn’t even have enough stamina to lay it on Thurman when Thurman was gone and wide open.

Remember when he could go another 12 rounds vs Margo or clottey throwing over 1200 punches in the fight?

It’s just as Bradley said, Pac’s B-C game still better than most A game.

Vast (no pun intended) experience and excellent condtioning paid off for Pac. That's the bottom line.

Just from an odds point of view, in this fight pac was the slight favourite despite his age. Pac was 4/6 and thurman was 6/5. Did the bookies know pac was juicing too? The fact as others have already said is that Pac is still good enough to beat most, and he will have bad days for example as he did against Horn, but that will mainly be due to his age. If pac was in his prime I cant imagine getting better odds than 1/5 for pac against thurman.

Yes, that was Manny's physically prime but I'd say the Pacquiao from the Cotto fight was his actually prime version

I think it was after this loss when Freddy became his trainer and actually taught him to punch hard with both hands. I think before this he hardly had any power in his right.

Its in his Genes. Not everyone gets older based on numbers.
My mother for example was doing treadmill (brisk walk) at age 82 and was dancing 3 times a week at the seniors club until age 92. Never needed wheelchair or assistance to bath until recently she passed away at 95.
    Manny his just 40....

"Nah, honestly, I know Pacquiao at 40 years old suddenly looked bigger, stronger, faster etc and there was no VADA testing but that means nothing, just coincidental"

Also most of the same people saying that.. even though AJ is tested all year round..

"Look at AJ, it's clear to see he is on something, you can tell just by looking at him".

Of course for some people it is easy to discredit Manny's achievements by coming up with unwarranted claims.
All because of jealousy why? I don't know, perhaps they at 40 are old farts already....

It's just how it is with people these days. They just can't accept that a fighter like Manny is able to defy the odds and do things that many didn't think was possible. They don't like the idea that his legacy is getting stronger as time goes on so they need to use the steroids / drugs accusation as a crutch to cling on to. It will take a while for some to come to terms with Pac's ATG status.

Yeah it was. I remember reading something on Roach saying this was finally when he started to listen.
